There isn’t a bad seat in the house.
My parents moved the family down to Florida when I was a kid but I still remember my first trip to Fenway like it was yesterday. Back then there were no Green Monster seats, Terry Francona was still a player, the “Curse” was stronger than ever, and the Sox were known for choking on a regular basis.
On Monday I’m hopping on a plane and Wednesday will be my first trip to Fenway since…..Mike Greenwell patrolled left field. Ellis Burks was that era’s Jacoby, Boggs was our Youkilis, and Marty Barrett had just handed over 2B to Jody Reed. Yah, it’s been a while, and I don’t think I’ll sleep from now until I have that $8 Fenway beer in my hand.

(The ol’ Gator dropped a couple of bombs into the bullpen against the defending champs that game. Those seats weren’t too shabby either.)
$6 for a hotdog and $5 for a soda!?!?!?! Are you f’ing kidding me?
Ah, its Fenway, sometimes its just worth it.

This is a really beautiful morning pic of Fenway Park.
